Comparison of Educational Domains of Public and Non-Public Primary School Principals in Karaj County

Abstract

The present study aimed to compare the educational domains of public and non-public primary school principals in Karaj County during the academic year 2023–2024. The research method was descriptive and causal-comparative. The statistical population of this study included all primary school principals in Karaj city (according to the Education Organization's report, the total number of primary school principals in Karaj city was 900) in the academic year 2023–2024. For sample selection, using Morgan’s table, 240 principals were selected, of whom 60 principals were equally chosen, including 30 from public schools and 30 from non-public schools, based on cluster random sampling. The results, using inferential statistics and analysis of variance tests, showed a significant difference between the educational domains of public and non-public school principals. Therefore, the results of the present study can be considered by principals and educational officials of the Ministry of Education.
