Peer Review Policy

The International Invention of Scientific Journal (IISJ) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of all published research.

In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain an unbiased and fair evaluation.

Review Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo the following steps:

  1. Initial Screening
    The editorial office checks the manuscript for:
    • Scope relevance
    • Basic quality and structure
    • Plagiarism screening
  2. Editorial Assessment
    The Editor evaluates the manuscript’s suitability and may reject it at this stage if it does not meet journal standards.
  3. Reviewer Assignment
    • Manuscript is sent to at least two independent expert reviewers
    • Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise
  4. Peer Review Evaluation
    Reviewers assess the manuscript based on:
    • Originality and novelty
    • Methodological soundness
    • Clarity and organization
    • Relevance to journal scope
    • Ethical compliance
  5. Decision Making
    Based on reviewers’ comments, the Editor makes one of the following decisions:
    • Accept
    • Minor Revision
    • Major Revision
    • Reject

Review Timeline

  • Initial decision: 2–3 weeks (approximate)
  • Final decision: After revision and re-evaluation

Confidentiality

  • All manuscripts are treated as confidential documents
  • Reviewers must not share or use unpublished data
  • Author and reviewer identities remain anonymous

Ethical Standards

The peer review process follows ethical guidelines recommended by the
Committee on Publication Ethics.

Conflict of Interest

  • Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest
  • If a conflict exists, the reviewer must decline the review
  • Editors also avoid handling manuscripts with conflicts

Misconduct During Review

If any ethical issue is identified (plagiarism, duplication, data issues):

  • The manuscript may be rejected immediately
  • Further action will follow COPE guidelines

Appeals & Complaints

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a formal request with justification.
The editorial board will review the appeal objectively.
