Digital Archiving Policy

The International Invention of Scientific Journal (IISJ) is committed to the long-term preservation, accessibility, and usability of all published content. This policy outlines the principles and practices IISJ follows to ensure secure and permanent digital archiving.

Principles of Digital Archiving

1. Intellectual Property Rights
IISJ protects the intellectual property rights of authors by ensuring that archived content remains accessible under the terms of publication and copyright agreements.

2. Long-Term Access
All digital preservation activities aim to provide reliable, permanent, and uninterrupted access to published materials for researchers and the scientific community.

3. Authenticity and Integrity
IISJ guarantees that archived content remains unaltered and authentic, preserving the originality and integrity of all published works over time.

4. Self-Archiving Rights

  • Authors retain full copyright of their published work.

  • Authors may deposit preprints, postprints, or the published version in institutional or subject repositories, provided proper citation of the final published article is included.

Archiving Systems

To ensure robust preservation, IISJ employs trusted digital archiving solutions, including:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

These systems guarantee permanent access to published materials, even in the event of technical failures, discontinuation, or other unforeseen circumstances.
